The University of Illinois NeuroRepository is a one-of-a-kind human brain tissue bank and research database that fuels innovative research and cures for brain disorders. The NeuroRepository is unique because it takes a ‘big data’ approach to link clinical, radiological, physiological, histological, and molecular/genomic data to thousands of human tissue samples and makes it 'AI-Ready'. Initiated in 2017, the NeuroRepository provides unsurpassed value to the research community and producing important new discoveries for those with neurological and psychiatric disorders.

The best way to translate our work into meaningful results for patients and families is to commercialize discoveries through intellectual property, copyrighted software, and AI-ready datasets. Our commercialization trajectories include new drugs and biomarkers for epilepsy, a new drug for ALS and Alzheimer’s, the Intuition platform, and a new MRI biomarker for epileptic activity.
